Pertiwi Soup Kitchen
This is the first time i went to pertiwi soup kitchen as a volunteer. Everything is new to me and it was totally different with Street Feeders of Kuala Lumpur (SFOKL). I like the system there because everything is in control. They divided us to different section and after awhile we need to change the section with the others.
The homeless there are all very nice, they follow all the rules, they will not cut the line and they will just follow what we said. The homeless here also different with SFOKL as there are a lot more children compare to the SFOKL which only have adults. At some moment you will feel sad, touching and pity them but they feel satisfying and happy from what they get. So, this is how the life goes. We need to cherish what we have.
The organizer there also very nice and friendly. I get to try different way of food distribution and i actually having fun and enjoy in it.
Best regards,
Neo Xiu Jie
