A Rainy Night To Remember
This time round unfortunately it was raining. It was a great experience as our lecturer came along with another lecturer. Fortunately we were able to make it there in time despite the rain and the peak hours which causes the jam. As we arrived, we were able to communicate with our lecturer to let her know how usually we carry out our social engagement. And as usual we have a group photo first before splitting into five routes.
So we walked to Masjid Negara from the place we gathered nearby the LRT Pasar Seni Station. First time I walked in front with the leader from KL street feeders and managed to talk to him. I find it fascinating that only just by joining a few times, it has resulted a common topic between the both of us. We just talked about our street friends and talking about the raised water level of the sewage.
As we arrived Masjid Negara, there were less people as it was raining so some of them stand there with an umbrella and some using cardboards as umbrella. Most of them were under the shade and inside the mosque. I did not managed to have a conversation as many of them just took it and went away.
Every time was a different experience for me. The first time I was scared to initiate a conversation while the second time I felt more comfortable and had a conversation with some homeless. This time I only managed to give out my food to a homeless which were sleeping on the way to Masjid Negara.
