2nd Street Feeders of KL

For our 2nd time street feedings, the organiser SFOKL had changed the assemble point to a underneath of a bridge near Central Market Bus Terminal. It is a very quiet place to gather. We took bus from UM Central to University LRT Station and took LRT to Pasar Seni Station. It was a long journey to go. When we reached there, it is very easy to find the new assemble point as they are few volunteers that are showing the ways to the new point. So grateful to see such helpful volunteers!
Indeed we started to go to Masjid Negara after a short briefing and photo taking sessions with all the volunteers and SFOKL crew. Before we start our journey, we distribute and hold a box of rice with chicken, a bottle of mineral water and a banana in each of our hands.

About 10 minutes later, we reached Masjid Negara. The amount of homeless there who are waiting for us is about the same compared to the first time. Me and my friend started to walk and ask around to those who need our food. I gave my food to a lady who are sitting nearby the fountain and she refused to get the banana. So it's okay, i gave the banana to a man sitting nearby. After that , me and my friends saw a familiar face which are an uncle who used to talked to us during the first time. We walked towards him and greeted him. He does not remember all of us but just one or two of my friends. We started to ask him, how he had been this few days. And he said he was ok as usual. And he started to ask us, 'how many volunteers today?', 'how you guys came?', 'what time you guys should be going?' and etc...

After 30 minutes, we are asked to gather again and walked back to our assemble point. It was very exhausting walking back but indeed we are having some fun walking back while chatting with friends around. And of course, we did not forget to do head count everytime and whenever it was. We took train back and grab back to our kk as it was quite late.

I feel more comfortable compared to the first time as i already know what is happening, what should we do and what is going next. Cheers!
